Bayfront Park has free yoga classes taught by a certified yoga professional three times a week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the classes are from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

On Saturdays, the class is from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Bring your own yoga mat and water bottle! The free yoga classes are at the Tina Hills Pavilion inside Bayfront Park.

Little Havana is a great place to experience some of the local cultures. Cuban people have opened restaurants, dessert shops, and art deco places for the past few decades to keep their culture and language alive.

Bayside Marketplace is one of the best places to go in Miami. It’s right in the middle of downtown and frequented by locals and tourists. It’s also right on the waterfront, so you can get some fantastic photos of the tall palm trees and boats docked in the marina.

The Vizcaya Museum & Gardens used to be a private home and estate, but it’s now a huge museum full of history and architecture. The building was designed in the traditional Italian and French Renaissance styles, and it’s absolutely breathtaking. 

It’s located in the Coconut Grove neighborhood, which is right on the water and surrounded by palm trees and orange trees. The gardens are always freshly manicured and intricately designed. You can walk through the exhibits and rooms or take a guided tour.

Little Havana is known for having some of the best live jazz music in all of Miami. While jazz spots can be found all over the area, the best place is Ball & Chain. It has live music every night except Sunday. 

Entry into the club is free. Feel free to sit back and relax and enjoy the jazz vibes of Miami. The club also serves great beer and cocktails. You can also order from the dinner menu if you arrive a little early.

How to Get Around Miami

The easiest way to get around Miami is to take Uber and Lyft. Parking in Miami, especially downtown, can be complicated and expensive.

Luxury: The Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove is a fantastic option that is very centrally located. It’s close to the metro station and the Dinner Key Marina. They have an amazing seafood restaurant in the hotel, a full-service bar, poolside cafe, fitness center, and hot tub. All rooms have marble bathrooms and private balconies.

NIU Kitchen is an amazing tapas restaurant with a huge Spanish wine list. Some of the small plates are a little unusual but definitely worth trying. Order the xistorra sandwich, the foie gras, or the costelles (amazing pork ribs prepared with olive oil, peppercorn, and garlic.) 

Sanguich de Miami is a laid-back gourmet Cuban sandwich restaurant. Try the authentic Cubano, or get the pan con bistec for something different. They also serve traditional Cuban coffee and amazing handcrafted milkshakes.
